@ALewis36 That’s cool, that means you gotta start working on your art and animation skills if you want to achieve that dream and maybe you could upload to YouTube where it will get recognized and appreciated

I wouldn't say comedy in movies and TV shows are disappearing but declining but it feels like (at least) U.S. movies that are focused on comedy are formulaic, with the same tropes and jokes constantly. Movies/TV shows dealing with social issues can be funny when it's done correctly, like South Park and The Boondocks, they satirize social issues and it's funny, to me at least. The main reason for comedy disappearing is because a lot of companies are focused more on real life drama shows rather than cartoons, if I had to guess: money. Searching up, "comedy movies 2025" on Google, shows you American made movies and most of them are badly rated, so I guess it comes down to the writing. I do, have a question for you, what is the idea for your cartoon?

I like to create some funny cartoon shorts similar to the ones from the golden age of animation, like Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Mighty Mouse, Goofy, Droopy Dog, and Woody Woodpecker, just to name a few.
